Area Code Lookup Beta
Type an area code to see where it was issued and read your clock beside theirs. Edit your clock to any time and theirs follows.
Any format works — dashes, dots, brackets, a leading 1 or +1, even a trailing extension.
Times assume today — around daylight-saving transitions, other dates can differ.
An area code tells you where a number was issued — mobile numbers travel with their owner, and a ported number keeps its original code wherever it now rings, so the person answering may be nowhere near the region a lookup names.
Coverage is the North American Numbering Plan only: the United States and its territories, Canada, and the Caribbean and Atlantic countries that share the +1 country code. Numbers from anywhere else are outside this tool.
Area code, region and time-zone data from the NANPA NPA database, snapshot August 29, 2026. Times are computed in your browser from the IANA time zone database your device already carries — nothing you type is sent anywhere.
