Outlook: Mark as read improvements Beta
Data as of 1 hour ago (26 October 2026)
Description
Mark as read will be updated to better match user expectations. When using the Unread filter, items will also be marked as read in coherence with the existing "Mark as read when using the reading pane" setting. Additionally, opening an item in a popout will now mark it as read regardless of that setting. #newoutlookforwindows
