Description

This feature adds a security system that lets administrators restrict what users can access inside the Project for the web iFrame on projects they access but don't join as team members. Project managers can use the same system to set restrictions for team members on their projects. When this feature is enabled in the feature control settings, the following changes occur: Access restrictions are updated on user level and project team member levels. At user level, "Read only" and "Full Access" are supported. At project team member level, "Read only", "Full Access", and "Custom" are supported. "Custom" access can be configured for create, update, and delete tasks separately. The access control is applied at the task grid level. Business Value: Today, when you open a project record, you can make unlimited changes in the Microsoft Project for the web iFrame, including creating, editing, or deleting tasks, dependencies, and goals. This update gives you control over what actions users can take in that iFrame, helping you protect data integrity and manage permissions more effectively. Enabled for: Enabled for end users automatically
